Atmosphere Generators

We offer a complete line of endothermic (AGA 501/502) and exothermic (AGA 101/102) generating systems.

Exothermic Generators (AGA 101/102)
These systems are offered in a size range of 4000 CFH to 20,000 CFH and are used for bright annealing, normalizing and stress relieving systems. Based on process customer requirements and processes, these systems can be designed to produce varying amounts of combustibles and dewpoints.

Typical composition of exothermic gas is as follows:

CO.................. CO 3% to 10%
H2................... H2 3% to 10%
N2................... N2 80% to 94%
Dewpoint.........  Dewpoint 5°F to 45°F

Endothermic Generators
We offer three types of endothermic generators:
1. Lo-Dew® endothermic generators
2. Standard endothermic (AGA 501/502)
3. E-Z Series of modular gas generators (AGA 501/502)

Lo-Dew® Series
Our patented Lo-Dew® series of generators produce a wide variety of atmosphere ranging from exothermic (101/102) to endothermic (501/502) or a combination of both. These systems produce endothermic gas by using products of combustion and hydrocarbon (such as CH4 or C3H8) to produce atmosphere.
Endothermic Generators (AGA 501/502)
Standard endothermic generator (1500 to 10,000 CFH)
Modular E-Z series (4500 to 13,500 CFH)
These generators are equipped with air-atmosphere heat exchangers and do not require any water. The gas and air mixture is pushed through the unit by an “EndoInjector” which assures proper mixing and ratio to assure constant dewpoint and minimal free hydrocarbon (less than 0.2%).

Nitrogen-Methanol Atmosphere
In lieu of endothermic atmospheres, we can also provide nitrogen-methanol panels to deliver a composition equivalent to exothermic gas (AGA 101/102) to endothermic gas (AGA 501/502). These systems are used when hydrocarbon gases are not available. Nitrogen-methanol in the furnace is introduced by specially designed spargers.
